One to one sessions
1-to-1 Trauma-Informed Support: Creating Lasting Change
At Calm Within CIC, we offer one-to-one sessions for adults who are feeling emotionally stuck, overwhelmed, or affected by trauma — whether recent or from the past. These sessions are gentle, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
We use approaches like Havening® that can be content-free — meaning you don’t have to talk about your trauma in detail for healing to happen. You’re always in control of what you share.

Introductory Talks
Trauma, Emotions & Everyday Tools for Healing – A Supportive Group Talk
Our group talks are designed to help you understand how trauma can shape the way we think, feel, and respond — often without realising it. You’ll learn why certain emotional patterns or reactions feel so intense, and why they can be hard to shift, even when we want things to change.
We’ll gently explore how the brain and body respond to stress and trauma, and how those responses can get ‘stuck’ in place. Using simple, relatable language, we break down the neuroscience in a way that makes sense — and feels empowering, not overwhelming.
It’s a chance to gain practical insight and try out calming, evidence-informed tools like Havening®, which can help regulate your nervous system and create more space to feel grounded and in control.
Whether you're attending for your own personal growth, to support someone else, or simply to learn more, you’ll leave with greater understanding, everyday strategies you can use straight away, and a deeper sense of hope that change is possible — even if things feel difficult right now.
Finding Your Calm Within: A Four-Week Resilience Workshop
This follow-on workshop is for those who’ve attended our introductory talk and are ready to go deeper. Across four supportive sessions, we’ll explore how to strengthen emotional resilience, build healthier self-esteem, and shift the unhelpful patterns that keep us stuck — including those shaped by past trauma or long-held beliefs.
You’ll learn how to:
Notice and quiet the inner critical voice
Gently challenge negative beliefs
Practise emotional self-regulation
Build simple, daily habits that support wellbeing and self-worth
Each session offers a safe space for learning, guided reflection, and practical tools you can apply straight away. Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to deepen your self-awareness, this workshop will help you feel more grounded, more confident, and better equipped to care for yourself every day.
